Wine notes
This is our first release of this variety from the Sonus Vineyard. Hand harvested October 2nd, the wine was fermented using whole clusters with native yeasts. Aged for 9 months in terra cotta amphora, followed by 6 months in neutral oak barrels.
Beautiful violets and bright red fruit with vibrant acidity. The amphora aging brings freshness with energy and mid-palate texture, while the oak gives gentle structure and concentration. Aromatically irresistible, flat out delicious.
Versatile & food-friendly, one of Oregon’s most exciting varieties. Bottled unfined/unfiltered. 13.1% alc. by vol.
