2023 Pinot Noir
Black Cherry • Aromatic • Elegant
2023 marks the first vintage of Pinot Noir from the Sonus vineyard.
Wine notes
2023 marks the first vintage of Pinot Noir from the Sonus vineyard. These vines were planted in 2019 and farmed organically by our own hands. Grown in high elevation volcanic soils, the wine has vibrant aromatics of black cherry, Mount Hood strawberries, violets, and summer blackberry.
Beautiful natural acidity and structure from whole cluster fermentation give this wine freshness on the palate; a natural partner for the dinner table.
Hand harvested September 22nd, fermented with native yeast, 100% whole cluster. The wine was aged in mostly neutral French oak barrels (20% new) for 18 months. Bottled unfined/unfiltered.
